• This book is a great guide to the Enneagram, particularly helpful in understanding how your personal dynamics and patterns might interact with other people. I think that was the most useful part of the book for me--I think it's a great tool for helping to understand yourself, but once you've recognized your own patterns, seeing how they'll play out with others' was the important takeaway for me with this book. The book helpfully has it broken down into sections--Enneagram at play in different areas of your life--so you can look at dynamics in the workplace, relationships, family, etc. Also has handy "case studies" that show these variables at play in a real life scenario. Very useful!

You'll also get insight into the unhealthy side of your personality. You'll gain an understanding of how you operate at your best and your worst, which is why I have a love hate relationship with the enneagram.
