This is Lukas story! Yeeesss!!
With the soft spot I have for the Swedish Hockey player and a more than is "normal" curiosity as to what would become of his playboy ways, I have been looking forward to this book!
The hotter than Hade's connection between him and Faith, the forbidden, drama-filled back and forth hot mess of a relationship makes for a sexy, swoon me to the moon and back, pick up the pieces sports romance that not only snagged my heart but my attention as well!
A one sitting cover to digital cover read I could not get enough of the well developed, strong characters, and their hot, heavy and fast moving story!
Every one of the Seattle Sharks books has been a unique read that I have loved! I highly recommend checking them out for yourself! - In a world pushing for freedom and tolerance of all religion, I was appalled concerning a desecration scene of a religious building in this book. For two characters that seem to have a respect for the sanctity of marriage... it was grossly out of character, for me. And kinda wishing I hadn’t invested in buying a hard copy. I have loved all of the previous works in this series, and am sad that I had the misfortune to read such an offensive scene.
- I do not know how Samantha will top this book I absolutely loved it! As usual with one of Samantha's books, it made you cry one moment to laughing out loud the next. I loved that she referenced Gilmore Girls and Stranger Things, my favorite shows on Netflix.
Lukas stole my heart from page one. I love how he reinforces his feelings for Faith, is willing to wait for her (to be ready). He's not willing to give up on her, protects her, and is gentle with her. I love that he tells her she's his end game, that he calls her and treats her like a queen. Their chemistry is off the charts!! I can not say enough good things about this couple that I've come to love and adore. Thank you for sharing them with us Samantha!!
Though I'm loving all the characters Samantha brings to us, I'm sad that it means other beloved characters are getting older and might be moving on. She also hints at who might be the next Shark and I can't wait! - Book #8 and I love every book. Samantha is an amazing writer and this series keeps you reading and wanting more!
- Once I started reading this book I was totally immersed in the Shark's family and felt like I was apart of the story. I did not want it to end. Lukas was dreamy, swoon worth, loving, and to top it off he changed his "wild" behavior for Faith. Faith is sweet, and so lovable. Their chemistry and connection was beautiful. I adored every single second of this sweet journey with Lukas and Faith. Samantha Whiskey never disappoints.

- Like seriously what a amazing story! Been waiting for the Swede to finally get his HEA! The story is fresh and Faith is fantastic I really hope this series doesn’t end anytime soon!!
- Lukas!!!!!! So very excited for his story!! This series has fast become one of my all time favorites! This writer is so talented and gifted as a story teller. This best friends little sister story is not to be missed.
